Budget Analyst and then Special Assistant to the Deputy Administrator for Special Feeding Programs, Food and Nutrition Service, Department of Agriculture, Washington, DC. As Budget Analyst, prepared and analyzed administrative budgets for major federal feeding programs. Served 6 months at the Office of Management and Budget as temporary analyst to help assist in the preparation of the Department of Agriculture Chapter of President Ford’s 1976 Budget. As Special Assistant, performed a variety of financial management functions which included overseeing department program budgets and attending Congressional budget hearings as a resource person for the Deputy.
